2013 Detroit Auto Show, will we get 2014 Silverado Power Numbers?

Monday, January 14th 2013. | Review

Gm will of course be showing off its new 2014 Silverado and 2014 Sierra. We have brought you a wealth of news on these two new trucks ever since GM took the wraps off the design. But there is one thing that I am sure everyone is aching to know. How much power do Chevy’s 3 new EcoTec3 engines produce? What will the horsepower, torque and towing figures be? Also with higher gas prices being a fact, everyone is very curious what fuel economy be. As we’ve learned these engines are full of new tech that should help save you money at the pump. We are hoping the auto show in Detroit will provide us with that answer sooner rather than later.

In addition to all these facts we’d like to learn about the new Chevy engines and trucks, I am very curious about the rumors that have been making the rounds that Ford is looking to steal some of Chevy’s thunder by giving us a preview of the 2015 F-150. I wouldn’t rule it out! It would be very interesting to see how Ford intends to compete with the new trucks from GM.
