2014 Silverado Texas Edition Announced

Tuesday, May 7th 2013. | Review

With Texas being the largest market for full-size pickup trucks in the world, it is only natural that every automaker that makes a half-ton and/or larger would give this market some special attention. For 2014 the Chevy Silverado will be no exception. They aren’t beating around the bush about it either. Enter the 2014 Silverado Texas Edition.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado Texas Edition

The Texas Edition will not be its own trim level, it will be sort of an expansion for the mid-range Silverado LT and upscale Silverado LTZ. Should you choose this option you can expect 20-inch polished aluminum wheels, a towing packing, a locking rear differential  body-color door handles and mirror caps and Texas Edition badging.

An LTZ models this is stepped up just a little more with the door handles and mirror caps being chrome and a Bose premium sound system. Outside of Texas we can expect a very similar option, but it will be called the Sport Package.
