Silverado to Offer Some Hurricane Relief

Monday, November 12th 2012. | Review

GM has proven itself to be a company that cares for the American community. To help combat the devastation that Hurricane Sandy has caused, GM, more specifically Chevrolet, has donated 50 full-sized pick-up trucks and vans to the Red Cross. The trucks have been pulled from nearby dealer inventories. That is not all, OnStar, GM’s subsidiary that is responsible for the safety, security and information services, has donated 3 months of its Directions and Connections plan which features turn-by-turn navigation services along with 300 OnStar Free Calling minutes of hands-free cellular. On top of these generous donations, GM has also donated $250,000 to the Red Cross Disaster Responder Program to help the agency provide relief to the victims of Hurricane Sandy wherever it is required. It is exactly this kind of spirit that is required ifAmericais to rebuild what was lost in the hurricane.
